Enhanced Twisted Sistah On-Line Workshop
My very first on-line workshop will be available September 10, 2012 through Creative Workshops. This workshop will be open-ended and on-going, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Many of you have requested that I offer this class on line. This workshop will be an enhanced version of the Twisted Sistah Choker class I have taught at various national art retreats. Over 20 techniques will be featured in this workshop including but not limited to: cutting and filing metal; the basics of soldering with a micro butane torch; soldering handmade bezels; all about resins; free-form wire work; weaving with beads, patinas, soldering chain links and designing closures.

Heart to Heart Tutorial
I have had so many requests to teach my process and techniques in creating these little gems and have the pleasure of offering you my very first tutorial as a result. This tutorial is in a PDF format and includes 35 pages full of detailed step-out photos (81 in all), step-by-step instructions for etching with ferric chloride, the nuances of working with a micro-butane torch, soldering, cutting and shaping sheet metal, the wonder of patina, cold connections, working with antique rhinestone pieces, jeweler's grade epoxies and wire wrapping. I also share with you imperative safety tips, resources and my favorite tools for the job.
